Supporting rural sub-division, NSW – Soil And Water

Recently Soil and Water provided a range of services required for regulatory approval of a 5-lot rural sub-division north in NSW.  Soil and Water undertook a Land Capability Assessment as part of the Development Application process which assessed the constraints and capacity of the land to manage wastewater treatment and disposal from the additional dwellings.

Soil and Water subsequently completed a Riparian Landscape Management Plan which assessed biodiversity and vegetation values, threatening processes, management goals and recommended vegetation management actions required as part of development consent.

Soil and Water also managed the approval process for a Controlled Activity application with the NSW Government for earthworks required to construct crossings on creeks and streams, including liaison with agency officials.
